If you are like me, when you browse the blogs you mainly look at the pictures and photographs, to be honest I barely even read the text if it's too long, just look through it, or not, mostly not, because I'm lazy...Anywho, here are my snaps from summer holidays in Greece, took them on my good old Canon IXUS 70! Not bad for a point-and-shoot cheap digital camera! Hope you like them!

Prepare for LOADS of pics!

For those of you who got to this part and maybe is interested in my scribblings, thank you and congratulations (I'll post a second part a bit later)...I'll write a few words about my holiday that summer. I went to Crete with my best friend and hell yeah we had the best time of our lives. We had a tough year at Uni and decided to treat ourselves with a little time under the sun, well 10 days to be exact. 10 days of fun, we pretty much enjoyed every minute of doing nothing (if it makes sense...haha, well yeah, if you live in Moscow, a big, crazy, busy, noisy and dirty city, I bet you'd want have a break from everything for at least a bit, and if you want to relax and chill, that's what you do - you do nothing)...although we went to a couple of excursions there, to explore the beautiful island and the town Heraklion. The Greek culture is amazing, I remember reading their myths and legends when I was little, so I couldn't miss the opportunity to visit Knossos and its famous palace, also known as Labyrinth, where the Minotaur was imprisoned (according to the legend...LOL). My favorite excursion was however a trip to the island Gramvousa and the lagoon of Balos. That was a little paradise. One of the most beautiful places I've been in my life. The gorgeous lagoon of Balos with water so clean you can see the seabed and pink (!) sands, you get to swim in the crystal clear turquoise water and visit the famous Venetian fortress (built in the 16th century), the spectacular view, the marvelous landscape and  again according to the legend Pirates hid their treasures there (great choice btw, haha).
Thank you for reading!
